SHPO Description:
This L-shaped bungalow has a low side facing gable roof with an offset front gable over the wing. The entrance has a small gable over a concrete stoop. Windows are double hung and casement with wood frames and moldings. A deck has been added with a wood railing to the front of the house. The siding is now asbestos shingles. but was originally clapboard.
SHPO Significance:
This house was built in 1925 for Mary E. Cobb. No occupation was given for Miss Cobb in the city directory.
The house is not architecturally distinctive enough to qualify for listing in the National Register. It has also lost its integrity with the addition of asbestos siding over the original clapboard siding.
